2) Setting time
Initial setting ≥ 120 minutes; final setting ≤ 240 minutes.
24 hours after the hydration reaction, the cement blanket can reach 80% strength.
3) Hydration reaction
The cement blanket can be hydrated with brine or non-brine. The minimum weight ratio of water to cement blanket is 1: 2. Cement blankets do not cause excessive hydration reactions, so it is always recommended to use excess water. Water can be sprayed on the fiber surface multiple times until the cement blanket reaches saturation. Because the cement blanket absorbs moisture, the color darkens first and then becomes lighter. When water accumulates or flows down on the surface, it indicates that the cement blanket is saturated with water. After the initial hydration reaction, the cement blanket should be re-wet at least once between one and two hours. In high temperature and dry weather, this is especially necessary, because the evaporation of water will cause the concrete to dry excessively.
The product HJ008 cement blanket is the most prone to over-drying. Regardless of the weather, it should be re-wet one or more times after one to two hours after the hydration reaction. Never use a high-pressure water spray gun to spray water directly on the cement blanket, otherwise the surface of the cement blanket will be washed into a groove shape. Will fall. If the setting time is delayed, re-wet it with plenty of water. The cement blanket can be used underwater, at this time, because it is immersed in water, the hydration reaction can fully occur.
