Notes on laying cement blanket

The new type of cement blanket is a kind of soft cloth impregnated with cement, which will react with water and harden into a very thin waterproof and fireproof durable concrete layer. The cement blanket is made of 3D fiber matrix woven with polyethylene and polypropylene filament, and contains dry concrete mixture with special formula. The main chemical components of calcium aluminate cement are Al2O3, Cao, SiO2 and Fe2O3. The bottom of the canvas is covered with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) backing to ensure that the cement blanket is completely waterproof. During site construction, there is no need for any concrete mixing equipment on site, as long as the cement blanket is simply watered or soaked in water to make it hydrated. After solidification, the fiber can strengthen the concrete and prevent cracking. At present, the cement blanket is 10 mm thick.

1 Preparation

Firstly, the cement blanket should be planned and measured to ensure a certain slope, so that the water can flow smoothly from the upper end to the lower end; secondly, after the construction site is cleaned and leveled, the construction line should be set according to the design drawing, and the drainage slope should be retested.

2 excavation

The construction line shall be set up according to the design requirements, both sides of the ditch shall be leveled, and there shall be no empty soil and cavity on the slope surface of the ditch. To tamp the water damaged parts, in addition to the debris and gravel in the slope, if necessary, use Panax notoginseng lime soil compaction treatment, or grouting reinforcement after sealing, which requires that the treated parts have good stability!

3 laying

The material can be laid vertically and horizontally. Please make sure that the base is smooth, otherwise it will affect the appearance quality!

4 joint treatment

1. A pit with a width of 10 cm and a depth of one time of the cement blanket shall be excavated horizontally at the overlapped position of two adjacent cement blankets, and the joint of cement blanket at the overlapping place shall be put into place and flattened.

2. Press the upper cement blanket on the lower cement blanket along the water flow direction, and the overlapping position shall not be less than 10cm.

3. Apply sealant evenly at the joint.

4. Fix two pieces of cement blanket with Φ 5 * 38mm stainless steel screws.

5 ditch edge treatment

Hanji new cement blanket uses rivets to fix the edge of the material on the edge of the trench, and the overlapped part is also fixed with rivets. After fixing, the edge can be covered with soil

6 water curing

Before watering, it is necessary to check and accept the whole laying before watering. Watering can only be carried out after it is qualified! Water 9kg per square meter (the thickness is calculated as 10mm) should be thoroughly watered. It should not be watered less and evenly from the edge to the middle

Spray water, the best way is spraying, the flow rate is 4000ml / min, until the color of cement blanket becomes dark. Do not use high pressure water column! When the temperature is less than or equal to 5 ℃, insulation measures shall be taken; when the average temperature of day and night is higher than 30 ℃, the surface shall be covered with plastic film or geotextile and other materials to keep it moist, and the watering curing time shall not be less than 3 days
